Breathe in Water: Sue Michlovitz

Breathe in Water: Sue Michlovitz

Breathe in Water is an exploration of the mediative and restorative aspects of water in all its forms. Her abstracted images are rich in color and light as seen in ther travels through the ice-filled regions of East Greenland, to the Carib- bean and points in-between. Her images display the refraction of light, the illumination of the ice floes and water while acting as a metaphor for life

Water can be both life-giving and life-taking. The look, sound and smell of bodies of water are prominent in Michlovitz's visual and tactile memories calm waters invoke a blend of relaxation while revealing memories and imagining reflections on life.
